Nauru

Nauru operates the Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Programme.

Qualifying contributions are directed to the Treasury Fund and are intended to support climate adaptation, infrastructure and long-term national resilience.

2026 limited-time contribution

For qualifying applications filed within the published promotional period:

  • USD 90,000 for the principal applicant
  • USD 2,000 for each additional dependant aged 16 or above
  • USD 15,000 for each qualifying sibling of the principal applicant or spouse

The standard principal-applicant contribution is USD 115,000 outside the temporary discounted arrangement.

Additional fees

The programme separately charges:

  • Application fees
  • Due-diligence fees
  • Bank due-diligence and transaction charges
  • Passport and administrative fees
  • Professional fees

These should be added to the contribution when calculating the total cost.

Eligible family members

Subject to current rules, an application may include:

  • Spouse
  • Children
  • Financially dependent children
  • Dependent parents
  • Certain siblings

Age and dependency requirements apply.

Main requirements

Applicants must generally:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a clean personal and professional background
  • Demonstrate a lawful source of funds
  • Pass government and banking due diligence
  • Provide complete identity and family documentation
  • Make the contribution through the approved payment channel
  • Satisfy all security and eligibility requirements

Residence requirement

Nauru’s programme is structured without a general minimum-residence requirement during the application process.
