Eligible family members
Subject to the programme’s current definitions, an application may potentially include:
- Spouse
- Dependent children
- Financially dependent parents or grandparents
- Certain unmarried siblings
Age, dependency, education and marital-status conditions may apply.
Main requirements
The principal applicant must generally:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Make the prescribed contribution
- Demonstrate a lawful source of funds
- Pass government due diligence
- Provide complete identity and civil-status documents
- Attend a mandatory interview where required
- Take the required oath or affirmation of allegiance
- Satisfy the programme’s physical-presence condition after citizenship is granted
